All About The Cryomed Pro
The safest Cryotherapy device on the market
Cryotherapy chambers look like a room similar to a stand-up tanning booth.
This next-generation device contains newly developed, CE approved electronic system controlled by touch screen TECO, focusing on reliability and maximum protection of the customer.
The chamber is equipped with an emergency stop button on the front panel and accident prevention system in the cabin. The chamber also allows connecting to Wi-Fi and gives comfortable access for remote service support.
Cryomed developed an innovative safety system (Accident Prevention System) that consists of a human-position sensor in the cabin, a door-opening sensor, a session emergency stop button and ventilation. To date, no other cryotherapy device companies have such a system in place.
The Cryomed Accident Prevention System:
An ultrasonic sensor controls the user’s position in the cabin and will not start the procedure unless the operator raises the lift step to the desired height. The chamber will not start if there is a chance that a person can breathe in nitrogen vapours.
Should anything abnormal occur during the procedure, the cryo safe mechanism will instantly stop the session and activate the ventilation in order to ensure patient safety.
If the cabin door opens by accident, another sensor will prevent excessive nitrogen vapours from entering the premises by stopping the procedure.
Safety
Great measures have been taken implementing advance technology for client safety. No other equipment on the planet is as safe.
With the redundant safety features, a session can be terminated by the client, by the cryo-tech and even automatically. Designed by brilliant design engineers, should the clients head go below the top rim for just a few seconds, the ultrasonic sensor will trigger an immediate stop and open the cabin door automatically releasing all the vapour from within the cabin. Not to mention, the client could simply push open the magnetically closed door to stop a session and release all the vapour from within the cabin.
For additional safety, protective gloves, socks, undergarments, and shoes are worn to protect sensitive areas. During a session, a client’s head is above the top rim of the cabin to allow constant communication with the cryo-tech.
Who Should Not Use Cryo?
The following conditions are contraindicated to WBC: Pregnancy, severe hypertension (BP>180/100), acute or recent myocardial infarction, unstable angina pectoris, arrhythmia, symptomatic cardiovascular disease, cardiac pacemaker, peripheral arterial occlusive disease, venous thrombosis, acute or recent cerebrovascular accident, uncontrolled seizure, Raynaud’s syndrome, fever, tumour disease, symptomatic lung disorders, bleeding disorders, severe anaemia, infection, cold allergy, acute kidney & urinary tract diseases.
Scientific Studies
“In conclusion, a unique session of WBC (3 min at −110°C) performed immediately after exercise enhanced muscular recovery by restricting the inflammatory process. ”
